TENERIFE

The most splendid sunset and sunrise I have ever experienced was at the top of Volcano Teide on Tenerife, in Canary Islands. This sub-tropical island offers a variety of unique fauna and flora, with habitats variations between humid mystic laurisilva forests to desert alike mountains adorned with huge cactus in only a couple of km distance.
